manual shift knob on an AT

I recently came into possession of an S2k shift knob. Thinking about putting it in my V6. Is this possible? If so, how do I go about doing it?

I know it's ricey, but hey, put in a shift boot and voila, V6 manual:thumbup:

it'll look really really :ghey: . when you remove the shifter from the gen 6, the bar it mounts to is high. you'll also have to spring load the new knob because you'll have to get the car out of park somehow.

hmmm....Do you have one of those sport shifters like the Prelude or the TL's? Those are automatic, but they don't require a button to shift. If thats the case, it would probably work. BTW, I think the idea is :ghey:.

Thanks for the responses guys It's all good though... Anyone interested in picking up an S2k shift knob. This is the real one. Got it from the dealership. Make me an offer.
