just picked up my accord today but i went in at closing time of the dealership. the salesperson told me they dont know what the radio security code for my car is and they cannot find out for me since all the mechanics left alrdy. they asked me to go back in tomorrow and let the mechanics do it for me. im too lazy to go there and if i dont have to i wouldn't. where can i find the code?

seriously, if i call honda and give them VIN can they give it to me or do i really have to go thru dealership?

 

I sure as hell hope they make you go into the dealer to get the code. If someone can get my radio code just by having my prominently displayed VIN, I'd be a little pissed off.

 

If you hate that than get a new radio.

 

Your right anybody can get a vehicles VIN.

 

Some of them ask fro the serial # on the radio

 

they have to verify your VIN and registartion information i would assume.
