Anybody know how to remove the OEM shift boot from a 2003 accord MT?? Any info would be great, thanks!

pull out the plastic cover. if you pull hard it enough it comes right off

 

I figured you just remove the center console and unscrew it from the console.. and then the whole knob unscrews after all of that.
But, thats for older ones :-)

 

i bought the nopi shift shortner, and it took about an hour to install, take out the console and what i had to do was use a wrench to put over the plactic boot then hit down and it comes out otherwise i couldnt remove it, it was being a bitch. let me know if i ca help further
