Default Generation 5 recalls (accords)

Are there any recalls on the accord? I hear there is a recall on the ignition but not sure. I know the balance seal is over since jan 03. is there any others?

Since yesterday sometimes when I start my car it will run for like 1 second then shut off and then I start it up again and its fine. what could be the prob? thanks

The 6th gens had a recall on the ignition. My mom (who owns a 6g) just got a card in the mail that said they would replace it free of charge.

I think the ignition recall was for 97+ which would include the last year of the 5th gen. Register with Owner's Link on the Honda website to find out more information.

Edit I assume by your name that your ride is a 95. So nevermind I guess :dunno:

there was an ignition recall for some 97 accords. Mine was one(97 lx), but I don't know the specifics of which cars, just call a dealer. I think i got a new distributor, cap, rotor, spark plug wires. Don't quote me on all that though, it was a while ago.

there was an a/c wiring harness recall, but that was a long time ago. The oil seal was another one. And i think this is for OBD2 cars(depends on VIN), there is a Emissions Warranty Extension. You get a free tuneup, free cap, rotor, spark plug wires, spark plugs and oil change. They also check for any tripped codes. This is for cars with 75k miles to 150k miles.
