Default RECALLS on 2003 accords ,brakes, intake hose ,reverse

hi i just got info from my friend that works for honda dealer that i have 3 recalls on my 2003 accord lx i4 4 dr i'm reallly upset because i got 2400 miles on it and recalls already shame recalls are following

revers(transmision) -you may lose revers gear,it takes them about hour to fix it .they have to download new softwear into the cpu and have some fuel in the car because after they done they have to start up the car and wait until fans kick in 2 times .

intake hose -they have to replace hose that goes in to intake eazy job

brake -the brake pads are bad if you stering shake when you brake they will replace the pads and cut you rotors because the pads are difective.

so don't get screw they should fix the problems for free

I'm tired of people complaining about teething pains on an 03 Accords, everyone knows first model year cars will have issues. Imagine if it wasn't a Honda.

The brake issue is actually a TSB I believe and is only fixed if you complain as not all Accords experience this problem. The brake issue has been known for some time now. Early complaints delt with pad dust sticking to the rims.

They do it for free you fool, that's why they fricken recalled it instead of making everyone who complained pay for it themselves :slap:

first year models are always the ones that go through growing pains. it happens. honda will fix all recalls for free, but you do have to spend some time at the dealer.

We're cool with that, I think any of us around here for some time have a dealer or 2 we love and a Honda dealer we hate. Well not so much a dealer for me as service managers--they really set the tone for the service bay IMO.

recalls are fixed for free. i can't imagine any situation at all in which you would have to pay.
