Default any other auto 4th gen with this problem?

having there Transmission control unit go bad?
speed sensor and trans sensor?
also having to have tranny rebuilt/replaced ~150k miles?

very common for the speed sensor. I've seen a few people with the tranny control unit going bad - not sure what causes this.


Transmission rebuilds, eh, I've heard some that have them done a lot, and others that have actually gone over 200,000 miles without any trouble.

I think it's mostly just bad luck

what happens when it goes bad...like how'd u know...tranny blew on our 3rd gen at 126k...iono if it's worth it to get a new tranny for a 4th gen......

tranny goes bad = car doesnt go into gear and doesnt move when u accelerate, and + for 4th gen, mostlikely u'll haev to rebuild the tranny
