Default ground control

hey guys i gotta ask u a question...my room mate have a 99 accord..4 door, and was lookin to buy some ground control coilovers. he know someone that is sellin it..but the dude said that the coilovers will afit 94-01 4cyl accord. is that true. thats 2 different generations of accords. i kno that they are adjustable and sometimes dont make that much of a difference. can u guys help me out on wether or not that....the ground control will actually fit a 94-01? thanks guys

The suspension may be similiar, but it is for sure different between the two generations if that helps. Not sure how different/similiar the springs themselves are though.

I know that from 90-97 accords have same suspension setup so parts are interchangeable. I don't think it's compatible with 6th gen

hey, I'm interested in getting these next year. Can you let us know if there are any problems, and how the ride comfort is? What shocks is he using with them?

i dunno if there's any different from prelude and accords...but i have them on my 5th gen prelude(ground control) and they are super smooth.and im using the stock shocks...im about to get some new ones cuz i hear that the stock will bottom out sooner or later. but i love my gc...smooth

yeah i've had GC's on my 6th gen accord for a while...changing shocks is a good idea....i bounced all over the place and blew a stock shock in two days after gettin the GC's...i guess im talented...holla

yeah those spring rates (450F/300R off the shelf) is pretty hard on the stock shock. That's the price we would have to pay for linear springs (Eibach Pro-Kits, H&Rs, and others are progressive).

The 450F/400R I would get next year is going to be interesting Of course, it will still understeer, but a set of Eibach sways will fix that
