I recently took out my AEM filter to tap off some loose dirt. Out of curiousaty I looked at my short ram tube and it had a film of dust on it. I ran my finger through it and it seemed like a silverish powder with a tint of brown. If that crap is in my intake than it is also getting to my engine. Is this how its supposed to be? The intake is fairly new and looks clean. I don't think i need to recharge it.

Let me know what u think and if ur intakes are like that to.

I think I bought my AEM in May so I think it should still perform well. They say they should get better when dirty even though mine looks very clean. Should I reoil it?? Or am I just overreacting

 

you dont need to CHANGE it you only need to RECHARGE it
