Check engine light: On when pushing thru onramps
After installing my sway bar, i began taking on/off ramps like a mad man. But while in the middle of the ramp (circular ones) my check engine light comes on. I pull over, kill the engine then restart it. The light stays off after that. I have no clue what could have caused the light to come on. Anyone have any ideas?
This second time the light came on, i drove on it for a bit. I downshifted, and the car had no power. I'm wondering if i just need maintenance.
any help would be great!
thanks.

I had the same exact problem with a 95 prelude. Long ass circular ramps, especially ones turning to the left at high speed seem to make all the oil move away from the oil pickup and thus creating a drop in pressure. First check the oil level, if it is fine, then pull the code. Most likely, you are going to find that you are just over driving the car. Do you have an aftermarket suspension on it? or just the sway bar? If you have the stock suspension, I am guessing the car moves around way to much and u should just slow down.
just my 2 cents...

I've had this happen on a few occasions when autocrossing w/Integra. Usually needs half a quart or less of oil to cure.
