i don't think that a body modification will affect anything related to your warranty... but i am wanting to change my suspension and add shocks and springs and some others... this could possibly have a warranty issue, because i know someone would say that changing the position of the axle blah blah blah would cause a problem. bull meneur (sp?). unfortunately i have the 100,000 mile warranty. but i may end up going for the mods after all.

My friend has the 7 year warranty on his lude and he already put a turbo on it:thumbup: If there's ever something wrong with it, he's gonna to put it back to stock and take it to the dealers. They wouldn't know if he put it on cuz he never go to the dealers for the tune-up and oil changes, he does it himself.

But if you do put the mods on, don't be surprised if they say something is loose and they wont touch aftermarket parts (even to tighten a bolt ), and they try to convince you that they will look at it and tells you to put back the original parts on the car....that's what happened to me. But I drove it off anyways and let my friends look at it and nothing was wrong with the part that they mentioned.

My dealership is pretty good about things and mods, but if your mod proves to be the result of the damage that was caused, then they won't replace it or fix it for you. I think that's being pretty fair about things. If something else goes wrong like a light or something and you haven't modded it, they'll still fix it, so dont worry about buying extended warranty. In the long run, it's better.
