oil light flashing
1990 Accord 2.2 DX
The oil light is flashing but it is full of oil, although dirty. Does this mean that I should just change the oil or perhaps the pump is going out and the pressure is low?

I had the same thing happen to my car this winter.
THE FIRST THING to check is your oil pressure switch, which is directly above the oil filter and under the intake manifold. When they go bad, the make the light on the dash blink
, but the car seems to run fine. Be sure to have some large-diameter deep sockets handy, or getting it off will be pretty tricky with vice-grips. It took me about an hour from start to finish, including putting the car on jack stands (use a curb if you dont have any). Be careful taking off the wire and the plastic sheath that goes around the switch, as due to exposure to high temperatures sheath becomes brittle.
A new oil pressure switch at Honda is right around $30. Good luck.

I've seen more oil pressure sensors go bad then oil pumps. I would check the oil pressure with an oil pressure gauge first off, just to put your mind at ease when the light comes on. Then If the pressure is within spec. i would replace the sensor after checking the circuit out to make sure my wiring wasn't having a problem. I have seen the wire coming from the sensor rub againest the bottom of the intake manifold and ground out causing the same problem.
