Default Reverse indigs - pics - but problems!

Hey sup. Finally installed my reverse indiglo gauges this past weekend. We came across some problems installing and it ended up taking 8+ hours. We think maybe the gauges were kinda busted at one point, had to spice into them to test and figure out what worked and what didnt.

Neways, everything looks DOP. only problem is that the SRS light is on (which i hear u can pull the battery and then will fix?), and that my temp gauge doesn't move and the gas gauge only moves up halfway when full. Are my needles busted or do u think they're just stuck cuz of the gauges? Comments?

thanks-

8+ hours

I think the gauges are stuck....did you use double sided tape or spray glue on the back of the gauges?

I had the same problem with the SRS light coming on after I installed my gauges. I just took my car into honda under warranty and they fixed it. They just have to reset the celinoid.

i'm just worried that my dealership is going to stick me with a bill since i messed around with the wiring back there. actually i'm pretty damn sure they will.

i heard u can just pull ur battery and reset ur ECU and that would fix the SRS light issue?

I can see your concern. You might as well try reseting the ECU and pull the battery. If it doesn't work then take it to the dealer.

As for the needles sticking, make sure the aftermarket gauge doesn't touch the needle, causing it to stick. I don't know what to tell you about the SRS light, but I did have the same problem. I couldn't fix it by resetting anything and I didn't want to take it to the dealership bc my car is out of warranty... so I just disconnected the light bulb that lights up the "SRS." PROBLEM SOLVED.

did you remove the needle, when you install it. cause that what my friend did, and it caused him a new stock gauge then,
Whenever you remove the needle, it will be off, and can not be calibrated though.
try to fix it your self before you go to the dealer, they just hate modif car...
good luck
