I went to a local speed shop around here and they had a Nuespeed short shifter for my 93(same style) for $90. They didn't have any in stock but they said they could order it for me. I can try to find their website if you want and see if you can have them ship one to you.

Wont the Forbidden shifter work in your car? I thought a few people had that in their 4th gen accords?

Where would you buy that shifter? Is it better than the Nuespeed version? I have no idea which shifter's are good, so any help would be appriciated too!

NOPI has actual short shifters (Neuspeed and Pacesetter) and Boostdriven.com has DC Sports adapters. Don't just make your own...a sawed off regular shifter doesn't do you any good.

Since you have the Prelude tranny along with the engine, you'll probably need to order any short shifter/adapter for the 92-97 Prelude (I think those are the years...correct me if I'm wrong).

The DC adapter goes right below the knob and just attaches, while the Neuspeed shifter is an actual replacement.

So wait.....you didn't swap the shifter and shift linkage when you did your engine swap? If that's the case then you'll need the Accord adapter.
