JDM headlamps
my friends tell me that to paint the reflector for the daytime lights isn't street legal.
i see stuff like this everywhere:

which is it? legal or not?
i recently bought some cheap JDM headlamps and the reflector isn't painted. i wanted to paint them because they just look too damn plain and USDM.

That headlight you posted is not legal because one there is no amber reflector, second the chrome reflector part for the parking light is black, which means there is no light going to the side or forward, and there should be light for it to be legal.
Painting the chrome reflector around and behind the bulb is stupid and illegal cause if cars can't see you and they hit you, you can be at fault.

That's not true. Not all cars come with the AMBER reflector.
My mothers Grand Am has clear corners from factory.
So....

Yes on the lower front of the bumper. but EliteAccord was making it sound like you had to have the AMBER on the head light and thats not true.
BTW I dont have ANY AMBER in the front of my car. I removed the front bumper lights and put in clear corners up top with white bulbes.
I hate that ghey yellow crap.
