Here is the situation....My cuz owns a 90 Accord EX and we think the Transmission Control Moduel has gone bad. The S (sport) light stays on and flickers sometimes. A clicking noise is coming from the switch from the shifter and the tranny is acting really weird. It takes off from 3rd gear from a stand still. We've reset everything that can be reset and it all comes down to this damn moduel. His bro has a 93 EX and it did the same thing and he took it to the dealer about 2 years ago and thats what they replaced...590 bucks later

Can anyone help me/us out with this problem? Does anyone have one laying around for sale or do u know a good place to purchase one???? Thanks in advance guys!!!!

 

well, first, make sure it's the control module that needs replacing. then find the part number to it. the #####-###-#### and then go to:

www.hparts.com

and type in that part number and that is about as good a deal as you can get on a brand new genuine replacement part.

remember, you'll need the #####-###-#### or else you'll have to try and write them an e-mail to describe the part and hope they know what you're talking about.
