Default Clutch/Flywheel questions

Ok, with the good news about the motor, my new worry is the clutch. Im gonna be looking for something with more holding power than a stock clutch, but I want it to last as well.

I want people with actual experiences to reply, I want factual information!!

Whats gonna be the best bet for my money? In the future, i may add a turbo with a small amount of boost, but nothing crazy... wont be anything over 250 at the crank.

Also, while its apart, i'll change the flywheel as well... what is a good lightened one for a good price?

clutchmasters or fidanza for the light flywheel....i have the clutchmasters and it's as good as anything

i have a centerforce stage 2 clutch, but wish i had gotten a stage 3.....i'd go with clutchmasters/exedy/centerforce........ACT is good too, but i've never owned one of those

I've got an ACT street disc with the Heavy Duty pressure plate, and I just have the OEM flywheel resurfaced and I'm more than happy with it. I've got some serious grip now, and I've done a couple of burnouts. no more wheel hop. If you do get a lightened flywheel juse be aware that the car will rev up real quick, but it will drop off just as quick.

I just got my findanza flywheel, gonna install it this weekend. My younger bro has the same flywheel with an act clutch in his '92 teg gsr. It made the world of difference. It revs up quick, and after it heats up there's no slippage. He loves it.

with lighter flywheels you often stall easier because of the rev'ing time like skabone said. but you get used to it.
