Default stupid vtec question

are the 94-97 LX coupes/sedans prewired for VTEC (i.e. a H22 swap) and how hard is it to get someone to wire the VTEC?

:eh: He's saying he doesent have vtec and the Swap will need to be wired. Vtec controllers only work if you have vtec.

Anyways, I dont beileve they are. I know you can wire them with some mods but I dont think it is pre-wired.

Doesn't the h22 come with its own ecu that controls the vtec? I don't think it really matters what u have under the hood if u want to swap to a completely diff engine.

No they are not, you have to add the wiring to the harness yourself, or if your very lucky get a complete harness from a prelude (rare/much much more expensive). Any of your H22 swap questions can be found in my sig.
