Default what the f*ck is wrong with my car?

Ok, so im pretty much clueless. Last week, my car was being very hesitant on the throttle. I figured it was because i put my stock exhaust back on for the winter.

Well, I was rolling up a local road the other day and the engine just quits. So i pull over, confused, start it up, and start to go again. My engine quits again when and does so repeatedly whenever i lean on the gas. after 2-3k, it stalls. So i manage to get it back to my house. Still having no clue whats wrong with it.

I figured it might be fuel system, i bought a fuel filter which i havent put it in yet just to see if that worked (probably needed to be done anyway). So i go out to install the filter and just out of curiousity, i tried to start the car. And it works, albeit somewhat erratically with a rough idle. So the thing finally settles out and it revs somewhat normally although something is kinda off.

The thing that gets me, is that when i push the clutch in, the engine revs go up a little and when i let it out, the revs go down, even in neutral. This is so goddamn strange. . . I thought the ECU might be ****ing up so i reset it. No luck. This thing is going to honda on modnay if no one has any ideas. . .

Thanks.

I had similar problems with my 86 accord, turned out the alternator was bad, and hardly working... The battery light didn't always come on though, and everywher I had it tested said it was fine... but when I replaced it, it fixed a lot of idling problems and a problem with the RPMs being up to 2 - 3,000 rpms when I push the clutch in.
