Additional Driving Lights
I was wondering...can you install additional driving lights (the ones similar to fog lights) and have the turn on automatically as you turn on the low-beams?
I basically want to avoid running wires thru the firewall and install an extra switch.
Thanks for your help guys.

you don't want to wire up any type of driving lights or fog light onto your parking lights or even low beams.
Its better done the right way the first time rather than having to pay someone alot of money later when your wires start to fry.

Mostly the aux. driving lights (as opposed to fogs) have beams that are more like high-beams. So it would make sense for them to come on with your high beams. But use a relay properly, so you don't burn stuff up...

Yes. You can wire them up the easy way and risk blowing fuses and burning up wiring or you can go the more difficult way. I can draw up some diagrams tomorrow and post them up for you.

Thanks also everybody else for the heads-up! And I perfectly agree with all of you: better do it once...and the right way!
Yea, it depends on the type of driving light used. If you are using some Aux. PIAA HID lights then you gonna want some high amp relays. But anything else I'd just go with a 30 or 40 amp relay from Radio Shack.
Heres some RS numbers:
900-2394 - 5 pin 40 AMP SPDT $2.99
275-226 - 4pin 30 AMP SPST $5.99
The 900 # must be special ordered.

i wouldn't want to overload the harness or wires. JUST to be on the safe side.
