since on topic whats different between the f23A# engines. My manual states codes f23A1, A2, A3, A4, A5 or something along those lines. I know there were a bunch f23A's with a number behind them.

ULEV models have a more restrictive exhaust manifold, this manifold stay hotter and burns more fuel simaliar to a precat.

Swapping to a standard LEV manifold will return you to a full 150hp. Or just add a header and you are back on even par.

F23A1 -- standard Vtec sohc (EX/LX)
F23A4 -- ULEV Vtec
F23A5 -- non -Vtec 135hp DX sedan engine (some VP models too)

Cool, good info man, thanks. Also just out of pure curiousity....I got basicly all the bolt-ons for my accord. (AEM CAI, Greedy EVO, Dc headers, AEM pulleys) How much do u think my realistic HP is now with a F23A4 ?? I know its not gonna be a phenomenal increase, but ive just been wondering.... LMK
