yeah, if you take a look under your car and check out where the oil fill hole is, you will understand why you need a pump. its not that hard, really, i have done it many times. it only will take a half hour tops and you will save some cash too. and yes, your right about how much to fill it, but you will need three quarts in order to get it to start coming back out the fill hole.

 

I had it done at a local garage for $35 including oil. So I would imagine a dealer would be around $40-50, but you could just go to Jiffy Lube or Valvoline and probably pay $35 also.
