Default 6th gen steering prob

I have a problem with my 6th gen Accord which I cant pinpoint.

Every once and a while while making a turn and moving forward the steering will lock up for a second and then let go.

Its not something that you can repeat on command either and the Honda dealer and Honda of America were no help.

Everything looks fine fluids, tie rod ends and such.

I was just wondering if any other 6ht gen owners ever experienced this or heard about any recalls on this matter.

Any input will be apreciated.

sounds like the time that the dealer put too small of a belt on my power steering pump....

Not sure if that's even remotely the problem with yours....but maybe if you've had it replaced or taken off lately, you should double check the size.

The belt is the original honda one and it is the correct size. I checked already.

Everything visually seems to be fine. Nothing is binding or leaking.

It is so odd that I can't even duplicate it, and beleive me I've tried.
