I'm thinking of moving my A/C Controls into my glove box. I know some of you will comment on how rice it is but I don't care.I was thinking all I have to do is extend the electrical conectors and it would be fine.What do you guys think?Any other ideas?

 

Seen it done on a civic. It's ok.
Do you have a reason for that mod?

 

it's not rice, so long as you have a reason to put a big hole in the dash ...I mean, I think it's just fine.. I've never done it, but I believe at least in the 92+ models they were completely electric with no moving parts...so just extending the wires should do it. Do you want to put in an SAFC or something in the dash?

the 92 uses levers and cables. i don't know about the 93. even so, i think you could move the whole assembly and it would work.

 

ive seen it done in a 5th gen accord. they dremeled out the Climate Control Knobs and put a nitrous guage and an Air Fuel guage in them and the AC control went in glove box. too lazy to find the pics.

 

Yeah,there is a reason for me moving it.I'm putting in dash dvd player with the pop up screen above my cd player.
