guess i'll go looking for that stuff...hey bruce...i read ur diy...how exactly does the straw clear the plate...never actually looked inside the tb so i can't really visualize it

 

its a flat plate when you step on the gas the plate will tilt opening the TB so air can enter. when you let go of the gas petal the plate will close so no air can enter the engine (idle).

When the TB plate is open stick the straw in. You can either leave ur engine on and inject the sea foam or leave your engine off. I would recommend leaving it on so the liquid get's sucked into the intake manifold.

*caution do not pour $hit load at once, slowly inject the liquid and let it sit for 5-10mins then take a drive WOT.

 

If you can't find the seafoam .. look for GM Top Fuel Cleaner.. same stuff..

 

so...does stp work the same way...use same process or what...and in order to keep the plate open...u keep the revs above idle correct?
