Is there any potential for the F23a sohc vtech Accord engine? If so, what could i do to tune one as far as ECU, fuel delivery, etc..

 

You could add a newer fuel rail, FPR, and add nitrious. This would be the cheapest, fastest bang for the buck.

Drag and F-max make kits for the engine, and if you are willing to tune the fuel mixture it will easily out power an H22 swap.

I/E/H could be installed but potential will be limited.
Fest bang for the buck would be to dump the stock resonator, and add nitrious in moderation.

There are no off the shelf superchargers either.

I'm still pondering the prepped block and nitrous route as H22 swaps currently don't have an appropriate mount kit and wire harness as other model honda's have. Shaved motor mount and butchered wiring harness are not my cup of tea.

 

I recently looked at the F-Max turbo kit. It seems like it would be a good place to start with. I can't see how ppl like nitrous. It just gives u a sudden boost and then ur back to your low power. If I had that I would need a lot more than one bottle in my trunk. In the long run, isn't a turbo cheaper?

 

So, other then a turbo, trying to tune the ecu, or adding kind of bolt on parts would be futile?

 

It looks like u have a good arsenal of bolt ons already. I think anymore would just give fractions of hp. Honda probably got most of the Hp out of that engine and u unlocked the remainder with ur bolt ons. Its time to put the F23 on steroids =)

 

k...sounds fair enough.... Also, im thinking that the reason my car is kinda slow is because i have momo's that are frickin 26lbs each....Will switching them up to some Racing Harts that way about 18lbs help me out a lot???

 

There is a lot of untapped potential from F22 and F23. You just need to spend the extra $ to extract the hp whether it is from all motor or forced induction.
