Thanks for the help, I checked out the link above (the first responce to my posts) and read the whole thing. Is that site you mentioned (topoftheline) have as good mits as the other place mentioned? (Classic Motoring Accessories. - properautocare.com). They guy who wrote the post REALLY recommended those specific pads.

Anyone have any comments about that rust spot? or the paint on the trunk?

I washed it I believe 1 minute before those scratches appeared.. I am very careful to make sure that doesnt happen to me.. and look what happens. What i think happened was one of the saps were really hard, and i took it off with the mit, then kept going.
I got the whole seperate sponge for tires, and, if its really dirty, seperate mit for the bottem part of my car.

 

gasoline should take that sap off
