It depends a lot on what size turbo, fuel and spark managment, exhaust restriction, etc... many factors. But with the low 8.8:1 compression ratio of this engine 8psi would be a good number not to exceed.

that doesn't really matter much, anyway to answer your original Q, i've seen several 10psi stock internaled f22b engines, mine is 7psi f22b2. so i'd say 11psi is an absolute max. the less tuning you have, the lower the max goes, like mine i think max is 7psi ! because i run fmu and s-afc. if it's hondata/ems then we're talking about 10 psi average (or should i say 11 max)

first things first...it's a 92 motor i assume...what kind of mileage is on it and check compression of the motor first. it may not be a smart idea to turbo and old tired motor.

well it's a 91 body and the original motr just blew at 315,000 miles and his new motor is from a 92 and has 64,000 or so but we pulled it apart to replace some parts gaskets etc. and the motor is clean.

Hey dont punch the cat. Your going to create Flow Stagnation which is an interuption of the exhaust gas velocity. the cat will act like a hollow box which is bad. People do that thinking its good but really its bad. About turboing the motor its all about tuning and how your fuel management is. Id suggest getting a more powerful fuel pump some dsm 450cc injectors and a SAFC and then getting the sucker tuned professionaly. And if your own a budget look at teh dsm turbo manifolds. I cant remember which Eclipse it is but one generation fits the accord head almost lke a glove. Its a easy way to get a turbo mani.
