Hey guys...I've been struggling on what to get to drop my car whole summer long. First I was thinking to get rims, (I just saw this great deal on groupbuycenter:
http://www.groupbuycenter.com/buy.asp?row_id=6094) but it's not like the wheel gap will go away. Specially after reading EliteAccord's thread
https://www.honda-acura.net/forums/s...threadid=7182, I think I wanna keep my car's reading correctly since I will be selling this car in less than a year. I think I've done enough research, and saved up enough to lower my ride. I know I am not going to spend $810 on a fullcoilovers system because mine is an automatic. I just want to lower the car so the wheel gap will stop looking like a flat truck/SUV rolling on the road. Here are my cheap solutions to lowering my car:
1.Tokico HP (blue) suspension kit $405 shipped. Non-adjustable, lowers 1.25".
2.H&R cup kit $610 shipped. Damping adjustable, not sure about ride height adjustbility. Lowers 2" front, 1.75" rear.
3.KYB GR-2 shocks w/ Sportline or H&R sports. $160 + $195 or $160 + $135. Absolutely no adjustbility. Lowers about 1.75" front and 1.7" or 1.5" rear.
I will most likely go with H&R cup kit. I am not sure how GR-2's will perform with lowering springs and how low and comfy they get. Or even no guarantee on their life, but cheap as hell tho. The HP kit is just sitting somewhere in the middle ground.
What do you guys think?? Post ur thoughts, thanks!
