cleaned the K&N this weekend, huge improvement in mileage
For those of us with K&N air filters, either factory or cone-type, here's a tip: Don't want until their "recommended" 50k mile period to clean it. I cleaned it after about 20,000 miles, and I've already gotten 25 more miles on this tank of gas than the last several tanks. And, there's still gas left. So, if yall have a K&N, even though it's not "dirty" by their standards, if you clean it about every 25,000 miles or so, it'll do wonders for your fuel economy.
