what does the strange noise sound like? i kno, when some people reverse, there is ABSOLUTELY No noise, smooth... but i kno in my accord 98 2dr (I4)... i hear a rather big like "shifting" type noise, when i reverse, like a missle being set to be launched LOL. like a "chuK".... actually, its LOUD when i shift to reverse, not when i do anything else. and it started to happen pretty early, probably around 25 K. but honestly, i dont have tranny complaints beside that, no major problem.
