the problems you are describing are not common. when i had my f22b1 motor in my accord, the only problem i had was the tranny started slipping at around 93K which is probably mostly due to me. of course it has the minor problems like the fuel guage being inaccurate and the heater knob sprining back, which minor to problems with euro cars. the the thing i noticed with european cars, is that they all have the same problems and they are major problems that are $$ to fix.

how about those coil packs on the 1.8T???
