That engine paint up to 2500 deg. has never worked well for me. Whenever I paint something that gets hot, I use the BBQ paint you can get at Home Depot or Lowes or something...
Painted my calipers with the stuff and haven't had to repaint them yet.

I painted my calipers silver with that stuff. They never get really dirty anymore
