Aight bro', obviously people are entitled to their opinion. I for one don't care for them, but to each his own eh?
The inner lights are real easy to take off; 1 nut in the middle and 2 others on the ends. Thats it.
The outer lights are harder. Heres how to take them off.
1. Remove 2 plastic clips from the bottom of bumper.
2. Remove 2 screws (4 total) on each side of the bumper, right behind the tires.
3. Open your trunk. On each side near the trunk lining you'll see 2 taps you can pop out.
There are 2 bolts to take off.
4. You should be able to take off your bumper now. Don't worry about using some force it's all held on by clips now.
5. Below the tail lights, you'll see brackets attached to the car with 2 bolts on each bracket. Take them off.
6. Now on to the inside of the trunk. You have to pull back the material thats preventing access to the lights. Before you can do that you'll need to unscrew the 2-3 clips that hold it in place.
7. Now you should be able to pull it back and you'll see that the outer lights are held on by 3 nuts.
8. Remove the brackets from the stock lights (1 screw each) and put them on the new lights. Some people didn't do it when they put theirs on. So I guess this could be an optional step.
9. You should now be able to just reverse the instructions so put everything back together.
For siliconing or waterproofing, go buy some clear drying chaulk at your hardware store and use as needed.
Some people say that they can do it without taking off their bumper, but I dunno for sure, good luck.
