interesting story, originally it was pitched as a movie and holl;ywood wanted nothing to do with it....so in 2002 he wrote the most sought after comic book of the year, for a while that series of 3 or 4 was several hundred dollars...

after seeing how popular it was hollywood agreed to produce the movie :doh:
