If I can remember correctly, my dealer told me that my car, 1998 Accord LX (I-4) is under powertrain warranty up 80k. you might wanna call up a few dealers and just ask them if you got powertrain warranty but don't let them know the problem, also have the VIN number handy cause they'll ask for it. you might have to call a few places cause some places will not tell you or will just transfer you back and forth.
