There's still no concrete evidence that the crank pulley causes uneven wear on the engine. Some people have had problems while others have gone 40k+ miles with none whatsoever. If you want to play it safe, which I did, just get the AEM TruPower Pulley set. It only replaces your alternator and power steering pulley. This won't/shouldn't cause any problems at all.
