You'd have to be very careless to suck in water. I've been through all kinds of weather with a CAI.

Also, the bypass obstructs the flow of air so you lose little horsepower of the little horsepower you were to gain.

I'd spend $50 on an eBay CAI and paint it whatever color I wish.
