It all boils down too what kind of weather your going to be driving in. If your going thru puddles or slush in the winter then spend her but I've never had a prob with my iceman 
and I've been thru some pretty deep water holes man...hehe!!
I was going to say the same thing. Since I live in Oootah and I have had no problems with my CAI with out a bypass valve I say keep the $40.00 bones!
