read the manual - if its the same as my 95 ls that light will come on and blink for the first 10 seconds after you start it if it has not been reset in the 3,500 miles - if you do not reset it before 7,500 miles it will come on and stay on - so therefore if that is the case just reset it . . most shops dont reset them so i bet thats your problem - the manual will tell you where to find it to .. i know its not the answer you want but it makes sense to me
