I own a 2g non-turbo eclipse, and associate with many DSM tuners here. I haven't raced many preludes on the street, but the best this car will do (stock) is mid 16's. Being a member of 2gnt.com , I can tell you that the fastest NA dsms are hitting 15.3 range, with considerable mods.

Non-turbo eclipses should lose to H22's, unless you really mess up. Yes, it is a version of the neon engine.

4g63 (turbo) DSMS are flat out dangerous, when tuned properly. If you ever come across someone serious about his DSM, you can expect him to hit 12's or 13's.
