twin turbos are really very common. porsches, supras, rx-7's, 300zx's, all have those stock. i was checking out the turbo setup on the autothority 996 and each turbo looks about the size of my tiny 15g that came with the greddy kit. wierd. there's one turbo on each side of the motor cause the pistons stroke horizontally, so each is run by only 3 cylinders. btw, that car made over 700whp and could go over 200mph.
And again, none of those are inline 4 cylinder engines, and all of those particular cars, with exception to the Porches and 300ZX, can be made very fast with a ceramic bearing single turbo. In the case of the Porches, a boxer engine is a pretty big pain to plumb up a single turbo on effectively. With the 300ZX, you also have a plumbing hassle, but mainly due to the tight confines of the engine bay with a relatively large V-6 engine.
