yea I agree, I had them running from my deck for about a year, which didn't do them justice at all. Once I added an amp to them, I was pretty impressed. So far I've only had a problem with one of them, the little round chrome piece in the center of the tweeter grille came loose and rattled like a mofo, so I tore it off...good as new

I have a pair in the rear too, since the factory rear speakers were 6.5's in my car.
