Does this still not work with the door closed when the window is partially down? Just to make sure there are no wires being pinch when the door is closed you should test at the switch when the door is closed with a voltmeter or test light. While you in there you should check the switch also to make sure this is working properly. If none of this works I'm all out of ideas.
