I feel your pain, bro...I really do...
I am beginning to think this is a Honda-only thing, guys...of course, I am saying that fecicously, but it seems us big H owners are the ones who are continuously "targeted" unintentionally by other doors, cars and assholes because it has happened to me, too...
During this bad winter we had here in the Northeast, my car was parked in my apartment complex's lot, where I am wedged between a Chevy Trail Blazer and a brand new black Infiniti G30 coupe; of course, on the driver's side of my San Marino Red 1999 Accord EX V-6 coupe, is the Infiniti, which is taken care of by her owner and who has respect for my car, as well. But on the passenger side is the Trail Blazer, who's owner put dent after dent after dent after dent in my passenger side door and rear quarter panel; I am telling you, these things were all over the place...dings and dents. I finally got the building's super to change my spot, and now I am wedged between a new Corolla and a Saab, both of which never hit me now.
So, once moving my spot (because I knew this motha f****a was not going to stop hitting my car in the Trail Blazer), I called a Dent X dent removal guy my friend put me in touch with, and he took out all the dings and dents, come Spring time. But before that, during the winter as well, I was parked in a Blockbuster Video lot, and was walking back to the car with my g/f....this kid and his friends in a Maxima back up and slam right into my bumper---the kid gets out, walks over, scrapes some road salt off the bumper and is like "theres no damage, dude..." But once the car was cleaned, you were able to clearly see the bumper damage---a huge, deep scrape went right through and added to ANOTHER bumper damage I had on there already from another asshole who swiped the corner of my car and took off, wherever that happened...my g/f was like "Dude...what is it with this f***ing car of yours? I am beginning to believe you that its time to get rid of it!" Now, of course this is all in fun and games, but my point is I do feel you and these blackhearted assholes who damage our cars should be tied to the back of a railroad car face down with the train cruising along at 100 miles an hour...
PS I have since called a paint guy to fix the damages on the bumper as well, once Spring arrived, so the dents and the bumper damages have been fixed...but the spot that he fixed is now a dull area because he stripped the wax off during the wetsanding process---thats a whole other issue that I had posted on at some point before. Good luck.
