I'm curious about records for production cars:

for example - what's the lowest redline of any production car you know about? The lowest I can think of is the Cadillac Allante's 4.1L V8 which maxed out at 4750 RPM.

Or the heaviest car? Not counting trucks or buses, etc., I think the heaviest I know of is the Mercedes-Benz Type 770 Grosser - which weighed in at roughly 8000 pounds (!) in a car with 230 hp in supercharged form.

Lightest car? The lightest I know is the Lotus Elite from the 50s, weighing in at just 1200 lbs.

Other questions I'm curious about - most expensive/ least expensive? Largest and smallest engines? Largest and smallest production runs? etc. etc. Any interesting statistic you can think of is welcome!
