I know after "and out come the wolves" came out, everyone and their mother was trying to get them to sign to their label, but they stuck with epitaph...if they were going to sell out, it would have been then. It must have just been that they got to big for the label as you said. Hellcat is a part of Epitaph, so they're probably still on good terms. Bad Religion left Epitaph back in '93 even though Mr. Brett owned the label and was still in the band at that point for that exact reason.
