Hey guys...I've been running this setup for about a month now and I thought some of you might be interested in my $.02 in case you were considering the same setup.
The KYB AGX adjustable shocks are awesome. For $340, they are totally worth the money. With all shocks set at 1, it rides slightly stiffer than stock. On the other side...at 4 you feel every little bump and groove in the road, but the car is very responsive and the steering has a nice "tight" feel to it. I love being able to switch back and forth. I always have them on 1 when I drive on the highway to work on the weekdays for a comfortable ride. On the weekends, in the city, I adjust them to 3/4. Overall, I rate the shocks at 9/10.
The Comptech Sport springs work great with the AGX shocks. They are noticeably stiffer than the stock springs. My only complaint is that the front end could be a little lower. After settling it looks to be about a 1.3" drop in the front and a 1.5" drop in the rear. I have 50 series tires so I think there is slightly more gap than with the stock tires. Overall, I rate the springs at 7/10.
If I had to do it over again, I would definatly stick with the AGX's, but I think I would have gone with the H&R Sport springs because I think 1.5" all around is the PERFECT drop. I went with the Comptech's mainly because I trusted their parts because of their relation with Honda/Acura. Overall I am still happy!
The S100 wax I use gets a 10/10! I love that stuff! Here are some pics for you all...
