oakland public high school teachers start as low as mid 30s. but thats for newbies. i know of some in the 60s already. but thats a good 15+ years under ur belt.
teaching is not for everyone. its not for the get rich quick, obviously.
i dont think i can every teach in a public high school. im just not emotionally built for it. although a smaller class of elementary or middle school kids i can handle.
