Default Mother's 3 Step + 1 Process

Yeah,
So at 5am this morning, went out to wash the car. I just couldn't sleep last night. Washed it, then dried it and decided to do the waxing for the beginning of summer. I used an orbital buffer for the majority of work

*washed and dryed the car
*step 1/ Mother's pre wax cleaner.
Be sure to follow the directions! I thought I would use a
damp cloth, but it called for a dry one. It took a little longer
to get the stuff off when it hazed.
*step 2/ Mother's sealer and glaze. This stuff went on really easy
and filled in a lot of old swirls and scuffs. Came off easy too.
*step 3/ Mother's pure carnuba wax. I bought the liquid stuff
cause it was cheaper then the paste and easier to apply.
Actually the pure carnuba went on/off easier then the usaul
cleaning wax of other brands. It smelled better too. Go
figure.
*step 4/ this is my step. I took a clean terry bonnet and a small
water spritzer. The kind you can get at the dollar store to
spritz plants or whatever. I would spray a little water on the
finish and buff it out. This takes out whatever leftover wax
spots you miss and gives the finish a really nice shine.

I had to work quick because I can't use the garage cause it is full of my dad's stuff. So I had to do all this before the sun got really hot. I'm sure you all know this, but never wax your car in direct sunlight. The finish came out really smooth and better then when I bought the car from the dealer used. The sealer and glaze really did an awesome job hiding imperfections. From start to finish without any breaks, it took me 5 hours. I was going to pay someone $100 to do it for me, but I think I did a pretty good job. It was just a lot of labor. The products weren't expensive, but not cheap either. All in all I spent $30 in Mother's products and two extra terry bonnets I really didn't need in the end. I will post some pics next weekend when I get my new rims. Hope this thread will help someone.
