JRSC doesn't come with a intercooler, although an air to air can be fitted with plenty of modification. The vortech uses an air to water "aftercooler" wich is kinda a pain in the ass, less consistent than an air to air, but good for drag racing since you can fill the tank with ice water. The gsr one should fit in a swapped civic just fine, but i'm not sure about hood clearance.

You should also look into the procharger. It comes with a 2 or 3 core air to air FMIC and makes more consistent power than the vortech, and is easier to install supposedly. Space should also not be an issue, its smaller than the vortech, and doesnt have that big intercooler on top, but in the front bumper. Not too many people have those, they only designed the honda/acura kit pretty recently but it seems like a very good product.
